You are monitoring the markets on your 3 screen work station and you notice an opportunity to trade. You decide to dip your toe in the market so you reach for your mouse and move it but to your horror the cursor has decided to play a magic trick on you and perform a disappearing act.

This has happened to the best of us and has been very irritating for me especially when I want to take a quick scalp trade. I decided to look for a solution and too my relief found a quick fix that is available on windows.

All one needs to do is activate an enable option within windows. What this option does is it allows you to locate your mouse in an instance by simply pressing the Ctrl key. What you actual see is a nice big circle briefly appear around the cursor location.

To activate this option in Windows follow these simple steps

Open Start Menu.
Go to Control Panel.
Find Mouse and click on it. “Mouse Properties” should open.
Go to Pointer Options and check Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key:
Click Apply and OK.

Hey presto your cursor will perform no more disappearing acts on you.

With Windows 8, just type mouse in the search control panel once you have opened the control panel.
